Very nice shot though the upper area looks a tad too blurry to me, but the focus on the snail is simply amazing. Great Piece!

I found the title amusing. The Snail withdraws itself from the camera and effectively gives himself the title you suggested, lol. The leaf helps center the attention on the Snail, paying closely to the spiral that further more promotes itself to the viewer. The crisp detail and contrast helps keep the deviation packed and centered. Well done.

He looks so cozy there!
I personally love the focus. The photo draws your eyes immediately to the subject. Nice work

I too love the idea of a wild snail. Are there domesticated snails?
I find myself bothered by the heavy shadow under the shell and the glare on the leaves in the lower left. I think I might have avided the first with a slight fill flash, and the second I would have cropped out.
How did he get there, anyway?

Well, probably there are some snails grown for food or sth.
You're right about that glare and shadow - but I had generally no idea what would come out of this shot - I was holding camera high above my head, later I couldn't see how it went out because in intense light I couldn't see anything on display. I'm generally happy with that shot - could be better, but it's still ok to me
Thank you for you comments.

That's wonderful! Very optimistic, both the idea *if even a shail can get on a tree... * and the colors... I especially like how light is playing on the leaves. Good job!

Amazing focus! The sharpness with the leaf and snail are looking great with the blur in the background.
Great colors, nice shadows.
And good question. How did it get there?
Anyway, great photo!

Thank you It was though to take that shot - he was far over my head, I had to get camera close to the snail and hold it steady for macro mode...
