It's interesting to see it dangle like that I agree. The basic shape stands out from the sharp and spontaneous plants. Great use of contrast to spring it from the background as well as the blurred effect to creat more depth. Well done.

Nice shot, the fact that the snail is in this shot makes it so great. I think it even would have been a good shot without the snail... so the fact that there is that extra element, gives it that little extra bit of viewablitiy and really makes it great.

Macro shots are very intriguing - and digital cameras impress with sharpness. Combining that two things may be very interesting
