You never played HM or know the story to it? It's spoiler related so I don't wanna tell you if only because of that, but let's just say that Koishi massively trolled Kokoro when it could have all been avoided.

oh, you mean the one about the mask of hope? can't be helped right? I mean, it's Koishi's only chance to be recognize by people.
We should take Koishi's bg story into consideration here. Even though she looks happy now, it's barely that way in truth. She's emotionless inside. Bringing the mask of hope not only makes her to be liked by people, but also help her to regain her emotion and her ego back bit by bit. the fact that she refused to give the mask back to Kokoro proves it.
And it's not a bad thing in my opinion, especially because it give birth to another pairing that I kinda love to ship. I mean, just look! those two are like yin and yang. Kokoro looks like she's emotionless outside, while actually she's full of emotions inside. on the other hand, Koishi is emotionless inside, while from the outside, she looks like she's full of them.
And there's also that "found you! my rival!" thingy. (d'aww, Kokoro~)
There must be a reason why of all Moriya casts, ZUN choose Koishi to be there in that game instead. I think ZUN only wants to point out that other than Marisa and Reimu, there's also similar rivalries happened.
but hey, that's probably just because I'm a fan of Koishi. lol.

But it's not hers. It belonged to Kokro. Besides, Koishi chose to close her third eye, didn't she? Whatever suffering she goes through because of that choice is her fault, and Kokoro suffering because of a regret on Koishi's part is unfair no matter how you see it.

yeah, you're right about that. But what's the deal? I mean, Kokoro managed to get the new mask of hope after all, and the old one that Koishi holds is losing it's power bit by bit. I think it's worth enough for Koishi's improvement, though. In the end, every one's happy, right?

I think Miko suits to be there, since she's the leader of Taoism movement, and thus make her the symbol of Taoism in Gensokyo itself. I know she's kinda useless gameplay wise, though.
Yeah, at least give Kasen more spotlight. as far as I know, Kasen is one of the few characters whose forgotten and didn't make it to HM. (at least if you count the spectators) It's kinda cruel because, even Kosuzu made it there, so why not Kasen too?

I guess so... It still annoys me. It's gensokyo, so everything always ends up "fine" in the end, but a whole incident could have been avoided. Ironic, since there'd be no HM because of that. I just see Koishi as inconsiderate and using her "emptyness" as an excuse to do so. I mean she's a good and well written character and is very cute, don't get me wrong. It's just that if I met her, I wouldn't like her at all. The same goes for ppl like Seiga or Kaguya. As people, they are terrible, but as characters/design, they are good, esp Seiga.
I prefer Kokoro x Byakuren, if only for one pic I saw and because I do NOT approve of Byakuren x Miko.
Hm... yea but I wanted to see Seiga lol. I agree that Miko fits, I just don't like her. My reason for THAT is more on the Youmu reasoning. That they, as ppl aren't so bad but as characters/design, I don't care much for 'em and are a bit on the overrated side.
What stage was kosuzu in lol. I didn't notice her. I didn't play HM THAT much so I must've missed her. And Kasen is probably being all hermit-like. Who knows, maybe ZUN might make it later that there was a mini-incident involving Kasen during the events of HM. She might've used all that commotion to put her plan, if any, into motion.
Afterall she IS hiding her identity. There must be a reason beyond the chance of being ashamed about her Oni heritage.

Kosuzu is on Human Village (Marisa's Stage.) On the most left side of the screen behind Rinnosuke. Looks like the onis and the aliens are having fun too there, Mokou and Keine sits side by side (d'aww~) and lonely Alice is still lonely.
Well, I did a quick re-check of all stages just now, and sure enough, Kasen isn't there. Let's hope it's truly like that, and not because of a lame "oh, whoops, we forgot. she's a new character and all." kind of excuse.

Because I don't like Miko, lol. I CAN See ByakuMiko but idk... I just don't like Miko. I think Seiga x Miko works more. yes there's the "hateful" Kasen x Seiga that has a Mokou x Kaguya feel to it, and then Seiga x Yoshika with the whole master/servant thing, but I think Seiga x Miko makes more sense, with Yoshika literally being just a way to troll Kasen and/or have a little mindless servant. Seiga is a cruel person.
Also the other reason I hate Byakuren x Miko is because it kinda overshadowed the Byakuren x Shinki pairing that used to be prior to HM.
Alright I've barely played games lately so I'll try to check for her next time. Kosuzu is damn cute, esp her named apron lol.
Also is Youki in there somewhere? He's kinda ok to be excluded because there's technically no design for him. (as far as I know anyway) MY OLD ACCOUNT'S NAME LOL THAT MADE ME LAUGH
Kasen is a hermit and didn't get involved. And like I said before *I think?* that maybe Kasen planned something during the distractions of HM. they very mildly touch on HM happening in WAHH, so that might be a clue as to it being connected to the upcoming events of WAHH. Wouldn't it truly be cool if the HM sidequest, so to speak and even DDC were all just to give Kasen enough time to do something awesome and even start an incident?
Also there's a chance that maybe Kasen was a planned hidden character and there might be a patch in the future (wishful thinking, but still)

hmm... I think it depends, do you like classic JRPG where there are no characters seen during battle? The story writing is awesome, though. It can be really funny when it wants to be funny, it can be serious when it wants to be serious, and it can be sad as hell when it wants to be sad.

well, the battle system is quite unique in that if you take damage, your HP will decreased slowly. so you can still land several blows on enemies even after you take a mortal blow if you fast enough.

Oh no her evilness makes her a magnificent character. I just mean, if I met her personally I'd dislike her. Which, to me, makes her a good character. she's a clear-cut "villain" which is how some should be.

Ah I see. I don't really mind that, I suppose. Though if you do want a good rpg with touhou, TGOS is the way to go. It's pretty difficult, has a nice cool game system and cute graphics. And yea I ahven't played either earthbound or the touhou equivalent.
Oh wow that sounds pretty cool actually. I get the feeling the game forces you to use this to your advantage to win at times. Sounds like it could be annoyingly cool in harder battles.

Well depends on the game. Stuff like DDS, for instance, is a grindfest but the story is amazing. Games even on normal mode (no easy) are pretty hard.
Sakuya is so-so, considering I love maids. I only like her in KD2. Sanae is just beautiful and I love green hair.

Ah. It's not touhou Related, sorry. Digital Devil Saga. It's one of many Shin Megami Tensei games. You know, the people who work on the Persona series. (which are ironically the most popular yet are spin offs lol)
