Relationship with Firestar

I don't like Spottedleaf.
So, first off, let's start at her kit and childhood teen years.

I feel bad that she was being Groomed by Thistleclaw, I really do.
But I don't think she ever saw her relationship with him as wrong? She only thought it was wrong because Thistleclaw was training in the Dark Forest.
Not the fact that she was 15, and he's essentially 45, with a Son her age.
I didn't read Spottedleaf's Heart, and I never will. This is just what I got from the Wiki.

She seems like a sassy child that I would like, one that does things she wants because... she wants to.
But in the First Arc, she's a dainty, do no wrong, Mary Sue, who has a VERY inappropriate crush on Firepaw.
She is like, 30 when Firepaw joins, and he is essentially 13-15. She is twice his age.
And sure, I can get that kids can become infatuated with older people, but Spottedleaf is an Adult.
She should not be interested in a child.
I think it's partly because of her relationship with Thistleclaw, and how it was never explained, or said that she thought the relationship was wrong due to age difference.

Also, her constant giving of omens and messages to Firestar is so uncalled for. There are Medicine Cats for a reason? Cats who train to read and interpret signs for prom Starclan? Why the hell cant you leave him alone?

I dunno, she was just this goody goody, perfect Barbie doll type cat, who was so fixed on 15yo Firestar it was creepy and annoying?

Her character felt so... fake. So plastic? There's no emotion from her? I never felt anything other than the fact that she smells like plants. That's all I got from her character as I read the books. Her death didn't phase me, I was more worried about the fact that now Thunderclan didn't have a healer.

I think she said their relationship was never meant to be, since she was a Medicine cat.
Not that she's 15 moons older than he is.

(DUST X FERN DEBATE I don't think they have a great age difference, I I don't recall Dust showing interest in her until she is halfway p, or most of the way through her Apprenticeship, which at that point she is still 16-19, and he's about 20-23 and is still gross at the time, but he didn't become mates with her until after she was made a warrior, making her 20, and him 28 ish. It's an age difference, but not a great one. They are closer in age than Spottedleaf and Thistleclaw, and Firestar and Spottedleaf.)

Age Gaps in relationships tend to be greater the older a person gets, and it's still acceptable. Like, a 60 and 70 year old can be together, and it's not weird. Same with a 30 and 40 year old. It's acceptable, maybe a little weird, but it happens. A 20 and 30 year old is a little odd, but... okay, sure, you're both adults, you do you.
