I can go through and explain them all I guess if you're interested, but eh.

Let's just say, expect one for Tigerstar as well.
I really really REALLY hate how the Erin's make bramble and fire look like their dads.
It's not genetically possible.
The sons will always take the color of their mother. Most of the time, they look identical.
Not father and son.
I facts the only wat a father can affect a kit, is by color on FEMALE kits, and by pattern.
For instance, if the mother is a solid gray cat, and the dad is a red tabby, the sons can be black, or gray tabby, and the daughters can be tortishell and dilute tortishell.

And fuck the blue eyes on every cat. It's so over done. Green eyes, yellow eyes, copper eyes, enough with the blue.

I went back as far as I wanted really.
I just recently went back into Sandstorms lineage again, and decided she's a tortie.

I might go farther into Crowfeather, Birchfall, and Cinderheart, but for now, I think it's fine.

Okay, small explanation for each. I could be messing up genetics, but I think I'm at least pretty close.

Nutmeg
Because I wanted Firestar to stay ginger, and cats don't generally look like their dads, I made Nutmeg a Dilute Red tabby, or a Cream tabby. So she carries the red Gene, but also doesn't look identical to Firestar. She has white paws, and a locket.

Jake
I also didn't want to change his design up too much, so he is a red Ticked tabby.

Quince
So, in order for Socks and Scourge to have white, I gave it to her, instead of Jake. I personally never saw Jake with white. I kept her being Gray, because nothing told me otherwise.

Sandstorm
She is a Tortie! Going back into genetic history, Brindleface is black or chocolate, and Redtail is red. As such, she took both colors, and became a tortie. I made her a bit more cream than red to keep her 'sand' prefix.

Firestar
I kept him red, or Ginger, but I instead made him look more like his mom in Pattern. He carries no white.

Princess
Red tabby. She has white paws and a white tail tip. Because no one is a brown tabby anymore, neither is she. She took colors from both Nutmeg and Jake, who were bother red, and she ended up being a red kitty.

Oliver
White with blue eyes is fine and common. I made him carry the red gene for a reason I will point out later on.

Socks
With his momma now carrying the White Spotting gene, he is now able to keep his cannon design.

Ruby
Her father being a red, and her mother being a dilute black, she had to be a tortie. I made her a dilute tortie just for the sake of it being as close to canon as possible. She has white on her paws, belly and tail.

Scourge
I have a whole post on why Scourge is this way. Blue eyes on black cats are not possible. And yes, the Ojos Azules are specifically bred that way, but I'm PRETTY sure he isn't one of them. It's more common for a colored cat to have blue eyes if they have heterochromia. And cats generally don't have 1 white paw. However, if the cat is a Tortie, there is no stopping it, and it is possible. So, I made Scourge a Chimera Tortie, with 1 blue eye, and 1 white paw. What? Tortie cats are only female? That's right, this Scourge is trans. If cats can form a society with a single ruler, have a form of medicine, have a form of caring for elders, have toms that care for the kits as much as a mother does, and has cats that stay in a monogamous relationship, I can have a trans cat character. And I think it creates more character and backstory for the bulling he got as a kit, rather than him just being small.

Crowfeather
I didn't delve much into his genetic history, so this design is subject to change.
His momma was a Gray kitty with darker gray spots, so that's what he is now. And FUCK the blue eyes, he gets gold.

Leafpool
There was not real possible way for Leafpool to be brown, sorry. She's a red tabby. She could have been a tortie like her mom, but 1 black gene, and 3 red just kinda called for a red kit. She has white paws from her mom.

Squirrelflight
Designstays pretty much to cannon, again, like with Leafpool, I could have made her a tortie, but it didn't really seem right. If I HAD to, she would have a white locket, and a white tail tip. I think it's really stupid that she SUDDENLY has a white paw as a 'reminder of her uncle scourge' that's pretty much impossible. Her white spotting didn't come from Firestar. It came from Sandstorm.

Bramblestar
FUCK the 'Like father like Son' trope. It's impossible. Unless Goldenflower and Tigerstar looked the same, Bramble is GOING to look like his momma. That's it, no questions asked. He looks almost identical to Goldenflower, except for the fact that he has a more broad and muscled body type, where as his momma is more petite and lean.

Brightheart

Design is pretty much the same, changed the blue eye to a green, because blue eyes are over done, and really? Stop with blue eyes.

Cloudtail
I tried my hardest to keep his design as cannon as possible because a cat named 'cloud' obviously has to be white. So I made him a red cat with high white spotting, which makes the blue eyes possible (?) but he carries the red gene, which is important later down the line.

Cinderheart

As far as I'm concerned, Cinderheart is either a Golden/Brown tabby or a Tortie. And to keep her as close to possible with the name 'Cinder' she's a tortie.And again, I'll say it FUCK the blue eyes.

Lionblaze
Design is content, can stay the same, nothing is really out of place except maybe fur length, but I'm not going to get into that.

Jayfeather
Again, BOYS WILL ALWAYS LOOK LIKE MOMMA, so he is a red tabby like his brother and mom. He gets green eyes because FUCK BLUE. and don't come at me with the 'Blue eyes mean blind' because it doesn't. If a cat is blind, their eyes have a milky look. They can look inflamed and have a reddish swollen look to them. And when I googled blind cats, they always have a super dilated pupil. So he get GREEN blind eyes.

Hollyleaf
With her mom now being red, and her dad being a dilute blue, she is obviously, a tortie. I had to option to make her a dilute tortie, but that just didn't seem right to me, and I wanted to keep things as close to cannon as possible, so she became a normal tortie. I gave her her dads eye color because 1 it looks really good on torties, and 2 literally the only way the clans can tell they were related was by them looking the same, so I gave her the same eyes because it's possible and why not.

Sparkpelt
She is a more creamy red tabby. She doesn't quite look like Firestar her mom, or Bramblestar. She sorta in between. She has a white muzzle, belly paws and tail tip from her dad.

Alderheart
What's the rule on boys? Always looks like momma. So he is a Squirrelflight look alike with a white tipped tail, and white paws.

Birchfall
Subject to change
Didn't go too far back into lineage, but the golden Tabby didn't work. He's a silver tabby with copper eyes. Fight me.

Whitewing
Stayed pretty much the same. She carries the red gene.

Ambermoon
Stayed the same, I gave her hazel eyes.

Dewnose
Literally impossible for him to inherit a black gene. He's now a red and white tom. Eye color can vary NOT BLUE I just gave green because it looks good on white cats.

Snowbush
Canon design works fine. He carries the red gene.

***note on Cloudtail carrying red, since neither of his daughters ended up being a tortie, he obviously didn't carry a black gene, and no, Desnose could not have gotten a black gene from him.

Lilyheart

If this design was good, then she would look like Cinderheart. Both designs are interchangeable. I designed her with the mindset that her fathers colors were correct. Again, Fuck the blue eyes.

Hollytuft
Tortie. It was either a tortie or a golden cat. And why else Name her Holly if she wasn't a tortie?

Sorrelstripe
Again, she could have been either, but since I already bested the odds earlier, I decided a tortie was best, especially since she's named after Sorreltail,

Fernsong
Red tabby is possible, but not because of Lionblaze, because of his mom.

Ivypool
Mother carries red, father carries black, obviously, a tortie. With white spotting thanks to her momma.
Fuck the blue eyes, gold is better.

Dovewing
Decided to stick more to canon, and made her a Dilute tortie, witch is gray and cream. And she has white thanks to her mom. Blue eyes are overdone, she never had blue eyes, fuck all that, they're green.

Tigerheart/star
Literally possible. He can seriously look like his grandfather. Because of the fact that his mother took colors from her mother AND father, Tigerstar, is the only way this works. If his mother didn't take colors from the, both, he wouldn't be able to look like he does. And I gave him green eyes like his mom. Just so he doesn't look too much like his grandfather.

Larksong
Mom currently carries chocolate and fawn, so he is currently a chocolate. If his mother was a normal tortie, him being a black tom is almost possible. He probably should have white spotting like he does here.

Leafshade
Tortie, like mom, has white spotting from dad.

Honeyfur
Fawn/dilute red tabby with white spotting. Tried to keep as close to canon as possible.

Bristlekit
Mom is red and black, dad is red, she can either be red, or tortie, I went with tortie because I think it fits the name.

Thriftkit
Again, I thought tortie was better than a golden kit.

Flipkit
Red kit is possible.

I can't really remember why I made her a gray tabby. I know the chocolate color gene is a black based color, so maybe I took it as a way to make her a gray tabby.

To keep to canon, he's not a cream/fawn kitty, but a dilute black. Because honestly, neither parent is black, and I don't remember giving Togernubs over there a dominant color gene. So a split gray kit he is.

This was colored in like, 3 months ago, so the fact that I can remember any of it is a miracle.
Just because I might upload some drawings of them, and I don't want to have to constantly explain why Hollyleaf is a tortie, or why Bramblestar isn't a clone of tigernub, yada yada.

Oh well, if you have tips for genetics, I'm always up to learn.
If you wanna fight me, go ahead, but I honestly don't care. This series lost me when they made Dovewing Ivypool, Cinderheart, Heathertail, and them all have blue eyes. Blue eyes are so overdone. It's stupid really, the only eye colors the books use are green, blue, Amber and yellow. Of varying shades.

And yes, I did get bored of a series based on eye color. It's very important to me.
