Got bored, decided to test my hand at some genetics!So, I researched a little, and this is what I got!
Top kits are the most probable, and bottom kits are the least.
Feel free to correct my genetics and such!
Feel free to design what you think the kittens will look like!
If you get a kitten right, you'll get a prize! (Either points, or a fully detailed drawing! Not valid if you copy my designs!)
So, onto my kittens!
1. Male, Shorthair, Solid black
2. Female Tortoiseshell, shorthair
3. Male, Tuxedo, Medium hair
4. Female Tortie and white, Shorthair
5. Male, Black and white Bicolor, Shorthair
6. Female, calico, medium hair
So, my reasons for these colorings:
Male kittens take color genetics from the mother, (solid black.)
Female kittens take colors from both. (Black, and light Red)
Black is dominant over Blue (gray) and red is dominant over Light red (cream or Fawn?)
Cats can't be colorpoint unless both parents are colorpoint/ Carry gene
Shorthair is dominant over long hair
White covers a color, so white cats breed a different color? (Cream in this case?)
Colors always go Dominant/Dominant (Black/Red) or Recessive/Recessive (Blue/Cream)
Uhhhm.

Eh, genetics are interesting and I like learning about them and doing the Punnet squares, but I am definitely under qualified to even guess at what kittens would look like--unless both parents are a solid color then I feel more confident about it. Though I always found it strange how my sister's cat ended up having a tabby when neither parent or (maternal...no idea about paternal, tbh) grandparent cat were a tabby themselves.
Still think it's cool how a queen can have more than one toms offspring, though also kinda weird, I guess. Does that make the kittens half-siblings even if they're born at the same time? I'm kinda wondering why none of the Erins have included this in the series at any point, like, all the cats are monogamous, I guess?
Sorry for the uber long comment. This really interests me, though, and your cats pictured above made really pretty kittens!

Huh, that's really strange about your sisters cat! Maybe they had a hidden gene for it or something lol!
Right? It would really be interesting to have read about a polyamorus relationship, or even just a kit that resembles another tom in the clan XD
I would guess they'd be half siblings? They just say littermates, and don't even reference that their siblings from another litter are related to them. (At least, not from what I can remember)

I think you are right (I'm no good with genetics XD)Β Though, When I had Lucy, she had 5 kittens: 3 brown tabby w/ white, 1 black and one black and white. She bred with her brother so there were already genes for black, white and brown tabby.
Also, kitten 3 looks perfect for a future character! How detailed does it have to be?

Loki had 'Ghost stripes' as a baby, and still has them, but black cats can't be true tabbies. There might be a chance for her to have some tabby kittens!
You can have the design if you want XD it's a simple and common pattern in cats, lol.
You can design some guesses of the kittens if you want, it doesn't have to be super detailed, if you get it right, I'll draw you something XD
Even just a simple 'Solid black female, green eyes, short fur, white toes' for some kittens will work as an entry!

Marcie has ghost stripes too! They are easier to see on her tail. Linus was a teddy bear of a black cat! I miss him...Brown Tabby with White is a pretty kitty!

Red males are going be super rare since Thor is the provider of that gene (the red gene is in the X chromosome). So, another litter will most likely have black kittens. So, I'm gonna go on a limb and say that: a solid black male kitten, short hair with yellow eyes like his mama! A second guess would be a solid white female kitten, medium fur like pop, and odd eyes (yellow and blue). Just gotta be on both edges of the spectrum!Β
