So, let's get into some info hm?
Soot was 7 months old adopt the time of meeting his Kits' mother
He was 10 when they were born.
They are currently 6weeks, making him 11.5 months
Their mother is a kittypet, who ended up moving away, and Soot took the kits so they can stay together.
Soot technically isn't supposed to have them
If Ash found out, he'd probably kill them.
Despite Soot being a very young tom, he takes excellent care of his kits.
He tries really hard to be a good role model for the girls, and is debating on joining the clans if/when they come back.

Very quite, but smart. Cares more for his family than his own life. He doesn't eat much, so he's actually slightly stunted, and is smaller than he should be. He doesn't like anyone going hungry, as he's knows how an empty stomach feels. While not extremely loyal to The Family, he follows the rules so he doesn't bring attention to his illegal family.

A stereotypical first born. Very adventurous, and a trouble maker. She's very mature for her age, and will try to follow the rules, but her curiosity can get the better of her. She likes riddles and mind games. She likes to imagine fighting, and running from things bigger than herself. She dreams of having a role that benefits others. She hates being kept a secret.

Marigold (tortie Kit)

A stickler for rules. Very similar in personality to her father. She's the biggest and stockiest kit, and can tend to throw her weight around if needed. She has a leader type personality, but her sisters determination out weighs her. She has great ideas, and thinks out Spider the box at every turn.

Magpie (Black/White bicolor)

Too Young
Loner
The more lean and follower type kit. She tends to listen to everything her siblings say. She's not outgoing like her siblings, and can often be thought of last, despite being the middle child. Her pink eyes have a sensitivity to the light, so she prefers to hang out until it's a little darker. She can often be seen wandering around with her eyes closed. She said she saw a small flying cat like creature doing a similar thing one night? After meeting the clan cats, she took a liking to a Windclan cat named Mudpaw, and loved learning about herbs and healing. Both of them together gave them both confidence, and neither was an anxious mess.

I have big plans for Magpie if you can't tell
And I MIGHT start a little romance for Mudpaw and Magpie, but we shall see, she's a little too young, and I haven't developed Mud's character too far yet.

I realized I have a lot of female based characters (single mothers, young mothers, lesbian couples, fem-fem-male poly couples) and not a lot of male characters. I was already planning on Soot being a single father, but I hadn't settled on it. (If I had found a good female to replicate mom's looks, I would have her be the mother.) but I simply decided that a single father would be an interesting idea to add.

NOTE
KITS ARE WEANED BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6 WEEKS TO 12 WEEKS
IT IS MORE COMMON FOR THEM TO BE WEANED AT 8 WEEKS (2 months)
So while it is REALLY young for the trio to be without mom, it does happen, and they are fine.
