PAST

Avian was always very enthusiastic ever since he was a little Wyngling, though had always had a huge fear of heights. He used to watch his friends fly everywhere they went, and he would stay on the ground and watch in awe. Sometimes he'd even try to climb trees, but only got as far as the first branch before his phobia overtook him.
His uncle, Gilligan, was his main inspiration, and he would tell him stories of brave warriors who would fly around and protect their loved ones. This was enough to encourage Avian to think more into learning to fly.

It only occurred, however, when he had grown up, and was in his mid-teens, when Kalypso, whom he grew up, with got caught in a fight with another stronger wyngro. Avian had sprouted his wings by then and was able to fly, despite being so scared.

He watched the battle that began on the precipice of a high cliff, where Kalypso had been cornered, and was then chased off the edge and began to fall. That was when Avian decided that enough was enough, and for the first time in his life, he let his wings carry him across the sky. He was a strong wyngro, and just in time was able to catch Kalypso in his arms and carried her to land before she could hit the water below the cliff.

Ever since then, he gradually became fearless of heights, and when he was older, traveled to Wynsiph, where he worked at the school to help young wyngrew overcome their fears and learn to fly. That was also where he met Kalypso once again. Now-a-days, he even spends most of his time in the air, cruising through the clouds.

PERSONALITY

Avian is an extremely caring wyngro, and is very enthusiastic. He tries to encourage wyngrew to face their fears and overcome them, as he once did with flying. He loves everyone, and is always happy and chatty. Also, Avian is very understanding, and knows how to help a wyngro in need, whether they need to talk, get something off their chest, or if they just need a hug.

Many believe that he has never actually frowned in his life at Wynsiph, as he makes friends wherever he goes. He's a curious soul and adores everything around him.
