Boring Films: So I'd had really high hopes for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, thanks to the rather deceptive trailer editing for the teaser trailer (which led me to think we were getting a live-action adaptation of What If Episode 4), only for those expectations to be ripped down and leaving me extremely PO'd by the character regression they put Wanda through (yes, I know the Darkhold can corrupt and they left it open for her to return, but still), but also gaining a love for Sinister Strange. And Thor: Love and Thunder had a lot of potential and I know it can be interpreted as all the unnecessary humor (to me and some people) was a product of Korg telling the story, but it left me feeling like there was a very noticeable shift in tone every time Gorr was onscreen.

Good Films: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was good. And as for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, well, let's just say I was a little bit nervous about this movie after getting disappointed by the above two movies to the point where I just decided to wait until this movie was on streaming. Suffice to say, they actually pulled it off.

Awesome Films: The first movie was recommended to me by my younger sister. I ended up liking this better and consider this the "true Multiverse of Madness", and this movie, Ke Huy Quan and Michelle Yeoh earned their awards! Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio was a better Pinocchio movie than the one Disney gave us and I loved it! Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was a very welcome surprise. The only reason I ended up going to see it was hearing all the rave reviews everyone was giving it and hearing all about this wolf character who honestly wouldn't be out of place in a slasher movie. These two animated movies left me torn over which ones I wanted to go home for Best Animated Feature (if it was Turning Red, I was going to scream angrily), but I was happy when Pinocchio got it (and ended up making that one scene in The Last Wish where Jack Horner is upstaged by Pinocchio all the more funnier).
