A more recent weapon submission: [link]_ _ _ _ _ _
These were done with a new set of art pens (pens with .05mm points) and I'm very pleased with how they turned out! These concept guns are completely open for everyones to use for ideas, brainstorming... and yes, even tracing if needed.
I WANT TO KNOW WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE, please vote
the order that the weapons were drawn are as follows:
1: diagonal down from furthest top left
2: shotgun-ish one directly beneath 1
3: sniper-ish one top right of 2
4: furthest top right weapon
5: furthest top left weapon
6: furthest bottom right weapon
7: furthest left, middle of the page (with the blade). And in case you're dieing to know, the sword thing underneath is a super-heated utility blade for cutting through anything ranging from tank treads to brick walls.
8: furthest bottom left weapon
9: finally, the second weapon down on the right side of the page.
My favorite is number 8... if anyone cares, lol

Number 4 is best, it seems more like a single weapon, other than just different parts. No offence, these are all awsome.

No offense taken! And I realized a while ago that a lot of these seemed to be drawn with no theme in mind. Thanks for the input though! 'Tis much appreciated, good sir.

Next time you might want to cut and paste in photoshop so that you can order the weapons 1-9 left to right, might make life easier. Very clean drawings,I can't do as well with pens.
And no one cares which is your favorite, you are only the artist, Just kidding man! BTW my favorite would have to be Numero 9 as well. You've inspired me to upload some of my own gun designs.
It looks like it would feel right in my hands. How the heck do you support the bladed one with the opposite hand?

hey, good designs, the lines could be a bit fresher and straighter, but I like the ideas and forms. my favorite is probably number 9

Thanks! And what did you mean by "fresher lines"? I always support constructive criticism, and I honestly want to know

to stay constructive:
I propose, that you do these kind of detailed drawings in a bigger format and work on your freehand skills. try to let your hand relax and use your whole arm when drawing. try to draw with more impulsiveness and give the lines some "edge". takes experience but you'll start to get a feel for how the line needs to bend and thicken at certain places. difficult to describe. its quite intuitive for me.

hm.. crisper? thats just replacing the word. not sure how to explain what I mean.
lines that have a certain dynamic, a flow. you can kind of imagine the way the person was moving when they were drawing. when I look at your lines I imagine you carefully, insecurely and with a somewhat shaky, tense hand, pulling lines.
not to say thats true, but thats what the lines convey.
you get any idea of what I'm trying to communicate?

Actually, I do and I'm catching on. I already draw pretty calmly and loosely, but I do see the lack of flow that you're talking about. In fact, it might not be a lack of impulse as my problem, but the lack of a mental depiction or final outcome of what I plan on drawing- most of the time I draw as I go, and sometimes I see that as a fault (the top left of the page is a perfect example, It's easily my least favorite because its so sporadic).
And about my "edge"- until you mentioned it, I never realized that ALL of my lines have the same width and tone! While I'm at it, I'll try experimenting with line variation and bolder lines.
Thanks man

I'm kinda torn between the top left one, the second to bottom right one and the bottom left one. Nice job!
