I TRIED to draw a realistic portrait... I wasn't very succesful, so, if you have any advice, I'd appreciate it. Especially on mouths and lips and noses... and eyes... ok, about everything!PS. she's a german exchange student in my class. what a beauty!

i think your problem is that her lips and nose are too small. everyone loves small features but the sad truth is, normally we don't have them. the eyes are good though. Also, this is more of a realistic cartoon. when drawing realistic, the outline is only temorary. you just draw it in the beginning to see where everything will be. then you have to shade and fill all the outlines like a colouring book until the lines are not there at all. but still, this isn't a bad picture. i think the lack of shading makes it so it doesnt eminate the life of the girl. also a light um, orb in the irus always makes a person look more lively. that's my advice. haha but seriously its a very cute picture. regardless of how real it looks i like it very much

mira lo unico q te ouedo decir de mi experiencia loco es q uses mas sombras, mas q lineas, almenos para mi dibujar con sombreados las cosas mas realistas me es mas facil xD.
