Thanks! I'm just trying to expand my portfolio a bit as a colorist.
I have noticed, actually, that you have a few color pieces, but honestly, I think your raw inks are probably stronger.

I saw one of the Mike Deodatado Jr. Artworks, He said that scaned the artwork, did it with a very dark pencil and used the Photoshop to treat the image to make it looks like an ink, I started to use it here in some of my pencils, still need a little more pratice to do it well, but I think it really a good thing to be done, I canΒ΄t do any mistakes when I using the ink, but doing it in photoshop I erase and try again until I am systified with the result. I am going to teach my mother how to do it, to have a little help.
I am even going to change my style in a form that I can treat the artwork as it was inked and be ready for the colors, just like this one:

There are two way of learn it:
1) Try a lot in every artwork that you did many diferent forms of shading to see what works, what not - I am stil doing it to develope my shading style;
2) Use some other artist that you thought has a good shading and coping what you like on him, after change it till you develope your own.
In any case itΒ΄s a question of trying and make mistakes till you finaly make it right.
