Description

I tried editing and recreating all of Rin's anime canon outfits and then lining them up to see what all I had.
I'm starting to feel like Rin really likes that mini kimono of hers. Either that or she doesn't have many other outfits. Her chunin exams to chunin outfit makes sense, but when you throw in her fresh academy graduated outfit, it stands out a lot. I'm honestly willing to bank on the animators just forgetting that she wasn't supposed to be wearing that outfit. I kinda want to uninclude it, but I threw it back in anyway. Maybe I'll make it look younger or something or turn it into an alt.

That aside, I have concluded a few things about her tastes in fashion.
1. She likes wearing pinks, purples, and compliments it with hibiscus-magenta
2. She prefers V-necks (they look best on her) and wearing clothes that shows off her legs.
3. She's more of a dress and shorts person and likes the traditional look.
4. She likes comfortable, almost casual clothes that she can move around in with ease
5. She prefers to keep her hair short and above her shoulders

All in all, she takes being a ninja very seriously it appears since her choice of style allows her to have free movement and is very easy to maintain. For all we know, that bracelet around her wrist is likely a hairband she could use to tie her hair back if she ever feels like it's too bothersome. I'd like to see her with long hair, but knowing her, it will always be short.
