Description
These costumes were a challenge to make since there were very few reference images from the movie. The bottom halves were left up to our imaginations and information from the book. Both were made with 4 way stretch vinyl and spandex snake print. My jacket was a combo of 3 patterns and I went through 3 mocks before I was happy with the fit. Since I was dancing in it I wanted a looser fit than the one in the movie. The top is all stretchy lined with spandex while the bottom is stiffer lined with duck cloth, satin and supported with steel coil boning. My wig was from arda.com It was the Lea wig with a built in part. I re-braided and styled it to look like the braided warrior helm from the movie instead of doing the side braid like in the book. The capes were my design but made by my best friend. It involves red lame, yellow and Orange organza all hand tacked with led lights to add to the fire effect.Related content

Amazing, simply amazing. I had first seen this photo on 's gallery and was amazed at how detailed the costumes were. I've been attending conventions for more than ten years and your costume made me feel like a newbie again, so amazed at the craftsmanship.

I bought the leia wig from arda [link] and just braided the heck out of it. Sorry I'm responding so late, don't check my page that often.
