the ice king steal himself a bride, who looks bemused about the ordeal. she's not really putting any sort of fight up about it so i guess it's alright.
he only has her around to cook and amuse him, she's got a good life as his bride.
though i do feel that Gareth's personality is OOC since he's smiling. I don't like it when he smiles, he needs to be that cool ice prince anime boy type who looks indifferent for no reason. they don't even have a tragic backstory, it's just who they are.
anyway, roguish smiles aren't really his thing.
i'm also thinking about changing his fur up to make him more of an ermine in appearance. he looks too much like a ferret.

These two are adorable. I really like the pose and their expressions! He looks quite lovely and pleased when he smiles. Again Teagan is just lovely; her tail is awesome.

What a great pose, he does indeed look like he's flying with great bouncing strides, and Teagan's tail is just so fluffy, she should watch out, tail bandits and all, she might wake up one day to find it gone. And worn as a boa around someone's neck. Their expressions are great too, she looks so surprised (mostly by the bow), and he looks pleased

Gareth can wear it without having to remove it if he just takes the whole squirrel, as he's doing now 
yeah, the fact she's getting abducted isn't a problem for her, but the bow is rather an odd thing. did someone wrap her up like a gift? if so, who? is she a virgin sacrifice to become the bride of a beast like in greek myths?

Well alas life is not fair so if someone is eyeing up her tail then she'd better be prepared to fight for it, this is a cruel world she lives in, and is already disadvantaged with a gammy paw, the weak fall beneath the jaws of the strong!

I am lol, but it's true! Animals beat on their weak friends! Our fish in the fish tank are a prime example of brutal nature, they beat on each other horribly

i hadn't really thought about it until i read it as an older person.
well then she couldn't really be proud of it herself, but oh well, it's a sacrifice.
my rats don't really beat on each other. except My, she seems to think it's fun to harrass the older rats. they ignore her and just squeak sharply in aggravation at her while she makes a pain of herself.
and sometimes Kyo (skinny old lady) will be on something that someone ELSE wants to be on, and so she'll get shoved off. i had the cage door open and she was at the edge trying to greet me and Yuuki came up and starting rooting under her. poor thing nearly fell off.
i don't know... our squirrels don't HAVE to hibernate, as it never gets cold enough for that! i thought they slept the winter and came back to find the stores they made, or something.

I must've been strange as a child as I considered it quite a lot, they were living in a communist regime where they paraded on their little boats and stuff, and nutkin - though annoying - was the rebel.
It's a lesson in modesty for Teagan - beautiful things are coveted.
Aww harassment is acceptable, beating on isn't - this one fish getting all the beating used to be Queen of the Tank - her name is Mrs White (yes we named them) and she was empress - we called her The Wildling because she was so fierce and was the only breeding female chosen by bulldog face Solero - the big male (he's such a coward though, he looks tough but he's a chicken and henpecked by the female of his desires). Anyway, they laid eggs a bunch of times but they were never successful and then Solero (one day) decided Mrs White was old news and hooked up with Mr House (black marbled bully) - turns out Mr House is a Mrs - but we still call her Mr House (after the videogame character Mr House from Fallout New Vegas, he's a computer running New Vegas and thus da boss)...aaaanyway, Mr House is now Grand High Witch leading the bullying pack beating on the Fallen Queen. Even Narcissus, the omega of the tank, previous punching bag for EVERYONE and possessor of only a single fin, is now beating on Mrs White!
It makes me sad to see how the mighty have fallen.
We separated her from them as she was getting ill from the stress, she got fin rot and her eyes clouded over white - so we took her out and treated her with medication for a week and she got better, but she was refusing to eat anything. So we put her back in the tank as she was well again, and they all started beating on her again! So we put a plastic tray in the middle to separate the tank in the hopes that the Witch Mr House couldn't get at her, but the cow flipped over the top like a high-jumper (I saw her actually do it yesterday, it's pretty amazing lol) and you know what she does? When Solero is in the opposite half of the tank, she bumps the tray to get his attention as if to say 'get over here you useless lump" - and he follows!
It must be good to have your man so well trained.
But even though her eyes are clouding again in stress, Mrs White is eating again - I guess she just wants to be with them even if they beat on her, and now she's the lowly Has Been.
The dramas of owning fish are like a tv soap opera.

Ironcrag - Goodbye Nymphhe pinned her to the earth with his foot while his other foot pinned down her arm, spear stabbing the ground between her cheek and shoulder. the two of them panted hard from exertion and battle, eyes locked on each other with fire and tension.
as he stared down at her, the maid he still loved and yearned for, the flirtatious, stubborn, independent hare who had run circles around him till the very end, it was easy for him to forget that there was a battle going on, with beasts fighting on all sides. to him it was as though all sound and scent was drowned out, and only the two of them remained, frozen in this moment in time.
he wasn't sure what he could do. he hadn't in his heart to kill her. that wasn't why he was here. he hadn't even meant to get as involved as he had with this siege. get information for Gareth, and then leave, that's all he'd meant to do...
