Description
I felt like drawing a tiny Lear with her biological father for once (wow I actually draw my other characters, who knew?)Hemlock is a stag and his daughter is a mongoose- but mommy is a mongoose so that all works out (I don't have species mix, the kid is either one or the other)
she probably has to jog on her stubby little baby legs to keep up with his fantastic and elegant stride. *sandpiper runs after him*
Hemlock isn't in Lear's life in a lot of my stories due to circumstances pulling him away from her in one way or another- but it's never voluntary. usually death or seperation through tragedy.
art and characters are (C) Lear-is-not-amused

Very sweet. I love the stylised stag leg design, Hemlock looks too pleased with himself, like he might be leading her to a surprise he created just for her ‘oh I’m going nowhere special, nowhere fun at all, just somewhere boring, you’d hate it’

yeah I'd never drawn a deer before and it was a little daunting. but I think I worked out a simple enough solution for those obnoxiously jointed, delicate legs.
that or he's encouraging her to keep walking, as she could be getting a little tired, and infants can get grumpy when that happens.
but nice surprises are good too. they're probably going berry picking, how exciting!

I think I’ve only drawn them once or twice. Their legs are kind of worse than horse legs because they’re thinner, so if you make them too fat they look weird as well.
Yeah and kids when they get tired whine and moan and lay on the floor (well it depends on the kid, brats do that)
He's probably like ‘well I guess I’ll just eat all the berries myself then’

oh you have? when?
yeah, you have to exaggerate them a lot.
XD that's very true! *gasp* but mommy will be mad if they don't bring some back!

Ages and ages ago. I used to have a stag as my ID image (its in storage somewhere but I can’t seem to find it) I also had a quick animation of one jumping, but I lost it.
Furious I expect!
He’s bringing them back, they’re just in his belly that’s all.

oh hey, I think you did now I look back... though you did draw that vegan banner too.
it's the perfect storage container.
