More Transformers info I wrote, this time with regard to how they Spawn (as Starscream put it in RotF) more of their kind. While not strictly canon, I went through canon resources and what I gleaned from the movies, then wrote this as my version of how it most likely works, which I think is quite plausible in all honesty. I updated the pod incubation, growth stages, and gender information on this file so it is more current with movie canon and general TF canon plausibility to account for the small size of the hatchlings vs the much larger adult bots.

The pod with the new Spark inside develops inside a special chamber inside the body (usually the Beta, but sometimes the Alpha), then the pod is released and the Sparkling develops in the pod hooked to an Energon source, not unlike an egg from a bird or reptile.

So by this, Solus Prime, the first 'female' Transformer and the maker/smith of the Thirteen/Dynasty would have contributed the 'feminine' personality traits to the future generations, and has a 1/13 chance of surfacing in a new spark? (there were/are thirteen Primes, after all)

Actually that is exactly right. **grins** Harmonic pulse resonances synchronizing to form a bond between them, and the ability to coalesce a new Spark in the process, though not at the same time as the initial bonding process. But once synchronized in this way, subsequent mergings can spawn new Sparks in this way. **nodnods** And yes, much better than trying to humanize them and make them reproduce like organics do. >.< TrampGraphics seems to think Transformers reproduce like humans do and all of us who actually know better about biomechanical engineering, robotics, and Transformers canon look at that idea as utter idiocy. **facepalms**

**nods** It would certainly seem so. I would love to see your finished dissertation. Did you know human electro-neural signals produce small magnetic fields, and that you can increase this magnetic field through various means? This occurs in nature, thus why some humans actually have higher bioelectric capacitance than others. My mother, for example, can run her foot four times across any carpet and draw a 1-2 inch bright blue static spark. I've watched her do this. And sometimes during heightened emotional stress, like when she is angry, her bio-electro-magnetic field amplifies, and she can scramble a television signal from 30 feet away, through a brick wall. I've seen her do that too.

Funny you should mention bio-electric capacitance, 'cause that's what inspired me to join this research group.......... I was gonna go to University to study archaeology, until I saw this one study. It was on the Wikipedia page on magnetobiology, about a day and a half, till they took it down because it's still original research.... but there was this guy, he was like one of those European prodigy inventors, who did something with a huge electromagnetic field, and it did something to the way the particles in his body are arranged or something like that.... I don't know, exactly, this guy was a real physicist and I'm just a researcher..... but it basicly turned him into a living electrical capacitor. I was reading about it, then my dog managed to eat grapes and I had to take her to the vet to have her stomach pumped, and when I came back, they'd removed it from Wikipedia before I could look at the original site

I don't know, it's just hard to think of great scientists as regular human beings, even when you know they are. There's something almost overpowering about them.
You know how you can tell a great scientist apart from everyone else? They always have the same expression on their face, like they're looking at the world and taking it all in, but at the same time, trying to see through it, into the future. That comprehensive, determined, yet trapped look........ If you ever look at pictures of Willhelm Rontgen, Heinrich Hertz, Marie Curie, William Sturgeon, Stephen Hawking, Michael Faraday... You'll see what I mean, they all have the same alive look in their eyes.
