From when I saw leaks of Spring Unsprung to seeing the outfits in action in the trailers, none of them screamed "spring". Pastels, light colors, loose clothing. Everyone's outfits are so dark and cluttered and just busy. Kitty's is the only one that look relatively okay (still: hard stripes? really?). It's spring, people! Pants? Layers? Why? So here I am, redesigning Briar Beauty's, Cedar Wood's, and Cerise Hood's Spring Unsprung outfits.Briar's is the one that stuck out the most. All the black, that random blue streak in her hair, too many layers. I decided for something lighter. A cute summer dress with pale roses and light green vines. Add in a little trellis cage wrapped in vines lining the hem of her skirt and some sweet heels, Briar is ready for tea party in the garden (or a day spent saving Ever After again) rather than a rave in a goth kid's basement.
Cedar and Cerise won't be done before the Netflix premiere. Oh well.
Done with Copic Markers, Prismacolor Markers, and colored pencils. Pigma Sensei inking pens for the eyes and a Gellyroll gel pen for the whites.
