I find it strange when abandoned equipment is left there after the industry goes out of business, even if noone buys the hardware when the workers all leave, most of it should disappear. It seems like something much more sinister than the business being closed has occurred when the equipment is left there to disintegrate after everyone leaves and the gates are locked for the final time without anyone so much as stealing a pen.
