Lines by `bri-chanWell since my laptop was taken into the shop because it had pixels dying on it. Yes, i had a patch of black dots that grew every day until it was the size of a penny on my brand spanking new laptop. So I broke out the printer and started printing, My Copics were thrilled to get out in the sunlight again. lol "
sorry if the color is a bit off, the scanner was a bit wonky, one of the downsides of using the traditional methods. And another downside:I tried to print out this whole comic, only this panel came out whole. Otherwise I think i'm getting a better grip on shading with markers and stuff. YAY!
Constructive Criticism is welcome as always.

You're alive! I forgot to say HAPPY NEW YEAR back!! I've missed yooouuu!
And anyone who knows Bri-Chan's work knows this is a classic!
There's one small trick for fixing up that bit where the markers go outside the lines. You can use an inking pen to outline the outside of the figures. It does well with hiding marker-mistakes, which is why I do it all the freakin' time.
I normally use sharpie, but the width you use depends strongly on the original linework. These sketches have relatively thin lines, so a thick sharpie would hurt it and not help it. (it would distract the eye from your coloring) Maybe an 05 or 08 Micron would work.
Just a thought, take it or leave it, it's all good.
By the way, I love the shinies on the Mad Hatter's hat! And the skintones look very smooth! Wonderful as always!

Thanks. I will try that next time. Usually I would go into photoshop and actually just remove it if it went outside the lines but I like this idea. And since I have no photoshop that helps.
I'm rather pleased with the shines on the hat myself, about time I attempt some highlights with markers (even if they are evil and try to kill me) But i have to say i'm most proud of the skintones on this one. First time i've actually been pleased with my skintones.
Yes I live, Sorry I haven't been on in FOREVER D8 Aim isn't working at all on the computers I have. I'm getting lucky to borrow my dad's computer as it is (which he has no idea i'm on right now anyways. lol hurray for being sneaky!) Happy New Year's to you! Thanks for the lovely words!

Indeed It does.
Well... maybe not the FIRST time, But this is my definate favorite of them all. I think this is my best one so far. lol But I realized you can layer the marker of the same color over and over to get a more subtle shading effect and go in with the darker marker for little but stronger effect. That and super brush tips on some of my copics allow for better blending i guess. (XD so in short. Yes i blended more)
Hurray for sneaking to dA!!!
Ooo a gift? for me?! then I must hurry and find a place to use aim soon!
