This OC was created and put up for sale by MidnightOwl07 . I decided to buy the character when it came to me that Snakepit would be a way to introduce Enigma to my Naga trio (as I will explain in the backstory). Also, Snakepit would be a recurring villain while the Terrors stay as the bigger threat. This will probably be seen in commissioned works unless I get struck with inspiration to start writing again.

My idea is for Snakepit to be a creature comprised of otherworldly serpents created from sorcery by Necross that carries out his will on Earth. Being a unnatural being with no visible sex, Snakepit would be addressed as "it" by the Terrors. The creature can see despite the lack of eyes while Necross and others can observe Snakepit's point of view from their realm. It does not talk and the hissing from the many snakes is the only sound it emits. Snakepit stands at 6'3" with a muscular build and unnatural strength and durability. The serpents that make up the body are its signature power. They can extend to grasp objects out of Snakepit's reach, used like grappling hooks, become an extension of Snakepit's "vision", or separate from the body to attack/restrain an enemy. Since this is a creation of Necross, he can take control of Snakepit and speak through it.

The main weakness of Snakepit is its strength and durability is limited. This is due to the amount of effort it takes from Necross, despite his centuries of magical skills, to conjure Snakepit. While stronger than a human at peak physical prowess, it cannot perform certain superhuman feats (such as throwing cars or larger objects with ease). Snakepit can heal instantly from damage made by small arms and bladed weapons. A larger wound, burns from incendiary weapons, and regrowing a limb that was cut off would take longer to recover from. Any snake that is beheaded will be destroyed and the removal of Snakepit's head, whether from decapitation or an explosion, will destroy the creature completely.

What would make Snakepit recurring is that even if it's destroyed Necross can summon another. The reason why Necross does not make more than one is because the strength and durability placed in one Snakepit would divide into the other creation(s). While there would be more, they would all be equally weak (not to mention how Necross would be affected from creating multiple Snakepits). Venom has to be added during the spellcasting process to be another weapon. Sources for the toxic are either from Necross' mate, Synn, or from what's in his collection.
