The amount of detail in this is just stunning. I very much like how you interpreted her hair. I've really struggled trying to figure out HOW THE HECK her hair works, but I think you nailed it. You also really captured the mood in the piece well, and you have an excellent handle on lighting. I especially like the way you showed the light coming through her fin membrane.
I'm not sure if you want constructive criticism, but if you do here's what I'd tell you: everything is very well "fleshed out" except the skin (pardon my pun). I don't think it would've been necessary to detail every inch of skin, but perhaps the forehead, cheek, and shoulder could have had some distinct scales showing. That's all though; really I hope I can learn to detail my art as well as you. Keep up the good work!
