Nice design overall, maybe lacking some surface details, like additional cracks and dents. I do not like shader (looks "oiled" dunno why), and viewing angle (does not represent the size of colossus).

hmmm you are right about the angles.
and the matcaps, it's rich copper... it's the one i found to be closer to the dirty look i was looking for.

Just an advice... matcaps are not the best solution for final renders. They ignore all light settings because the light direction is "baked" into them. Try using shader-based materials (lower half of material picker) instead of matcaps. They have more options to set up like specularity, ambience, etc.
