Decided to make this tutorial because I am amazed how many people don't know how to block jerks and trolls. Also I get tired of explaining it and I couldn't find any tutorials. So, to block someone

1. Highlight your name at the top right of the page. A menu appears and choose Settings.
2. On the right click on General
3. Now scroll until you find the block box. Add the name of the person you want to block. Make sure you spell it right and save.

Don't unblock them if you want to make it a permanent block or you can not add them again for 48 hours and you'll be stuck with their flames and spam for 2 days.

Blocking has the benefit of removing your art from their faves as well as having them stop watching you. You can use this to clean out your watchers if you do not want inactive people around. Something I have been doing all the long years I have been That's why after 11 years I don't have 6000 watchers like I probably would. You can use this to remove watchers that have been deactivated. If they have a strike through the name do this and they will be removed. So hope that helps. Will move to scraps later.

EDIT: Method 2 shows how to block with the pencil. Find a comment by someone that is bothering you on one of your deviations or on your page (journals, profiles etc). Click the pencil and select block. This method seems to work better if you're on a cellphone and can't copy and paste names into the box above. This can fail though and if the name doesn't go in you can't block for 48 hours. If you use this method always check the box in your settings using the first method to make sure the name is in the block list.
