Absolutely fantastic! I love the movie...ok, to be frank, I bawled like a newborn babe in the end...I've always felt rather strongly in the matter of the Scottish history....Anyways, you've captured the spirit of the movie! It's fantastic! And done in oil paint! *faints* I loathe working with oil paint....I'm afraid I never really got the hang of it, and my art teacher isn't the best oil painting tutor either, but eh...I'm completely captivated by the fact that you can work with oil paints so successfully! Brava!

Oh, and about Mel's face, it looks to me like his face is either too long or his eyes are too small? I dunno. I still think it's wonderful! ^_^

Quite nicely done. It's always hard trying to paint recognizable people but you've pulled it off, and captured the spirit of the film.
