Description
A new crossover of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS. The story remains the same in that Polygon Man, after being defeated in All-Stars, manages to make his way to the World of Trophies and gains control of both Master Hand and Crazy Hand, becoming the new entity, Master Polygon. Wanting to exact his revenge on the All-Stars, he brings them over to the World of Trophies and begins merging the two realms. More on that later.The full roster, newcomers' costumes, stages, and gameplay have yet to be decided, but the game would utilize both the SSB and PSASBR engines. Sony versions would be more akin to the PSASBR style, whereas Nintendo versions are more like SSB, naturally.
However, there would be a blend of the styles, such as the addition of instant kill Supers to Smash Bros, and the introduction of damage-based battles in PSASBR.
A new feature would be that characters who have had alternate characters as their costumes, such as Kratos and Cole MacGrath, and those who have changed voice actors over the years, such as Link, would have additional voice actors for those skins.
The roster so far is taken directly from PlayStation All-Stars and the entire Smash Bros series, with a few additions. Alternate costumes/characters are in parentheses (). Some characters that previously took multiple spots remain separate characters with different movesets or attack specials, but they now share a character slot to save space. These characters are marked with an asterisk*.

Maybe not an official crossover, but there's always fan projects like Super Smash Flash. I know Nintendo and Sony will never make a real crossover, but there's nothing stopping fans from making their own versions

That's actually a really clever crossover idea XD I never thought of the idea of combining Polygon Man with Crazy Hand and Master Hand! Also Wes as a playable character - heck yes!

I'd love to be able to pit Link against Kratos.
I guess ordinarily Kratos would slaughter Link, but in a game like this the laws of canon would not entirely apply.
I'd really just like to see Link kick Kratos' ass to get everyone who says that 'Kratos is completely invincible and the manliest game character ever and could PWN everyone in the entire universe and beyond' to shut the f*** up!Β

No they didn't. Nintendo doesn't own the right to a four player fighting game. Smash Bros wasn't even the first game of its kind, a game called the Outfoxies was.
Plus, the CEO's of Nintendo and PlayStation are actually good friends. PlayStation's CEO owns every Nintendo console because he loves the Legend of Zelda series, and Nintendo's CEO owns a PS3, his favorite series being God of War

No, Outfoxies had the gameplay style first. Yes, Smash Bros had the idea of different characters crossing over, but they don't own that idea. For the record, other companies have done crossovers like that before.

I've had it with people bashing this game just because "Oh, it's just Sony Smash Bros. Nothing but a cheap knock-off of Smash Bros" when it isn't, because the gameplay is entirely different and people would know that if they actually played it instead of just watching a few online videos and judging it right away just for the fact that Sony did it. Plus, Sony isn't even the only company who has a Smash-styled game, they are just the latest. As you've seen from this list, many companies have done it before Sony.
