When I saw this, I had literally never seen anything with this limb structure. It inspired one of my own sci-fi species, the Lesathi. This looks awesome!

I like the unusual style. It combines modern-traditional glowing "space marine" themes with otherworldly and slightly erratic aspects to create something new. The image makes you wonder what you are seeing, beast or machine. It suggests both while refusing to fix firmly on either or both. Very good detailing.

Wow, this is brilliant. I love that you still retained some humanoid characteristics but broke so far away from what we traditionally recognize as human. You got far away from the whole sci-fi humanoid alien idea without making it something so far from the norm that we wouldn't be able to recognize it as a sentient being.

Completely seconded. At first you look at it and expect it to have what looks like a quadruped body... but then you look closer and do a double take. The hips look like they could be for an upright humanoid, and the forelegs are coming from shoulders. It's really interesting to look at.

if i were to guess id say that he(it) comes from a planet of low gravity (long slender bone structure). longer nights than day(self generated luminescence.). high terrain (double bent bipedal legs for a more springlike jump) and i would guess high vegetation (multi-jointed arms would allow for searching out better handholds and gripping).
himself i would guess to originally been omnivorous (more food options) and more keen on hunting out food alone as opposed to with others of his kind(monotone coloration).
just my personal observations i wouldn't mind hearing if i was even close or if it hasent even been considered XD
