It was quite sad but good at the same time.
I've always wanted to play as one of the rivals Especially Silver ^u^ and Tarnished Silver will probably be the closest I'll ever get to doing that.

i remember when I heard some kid stole a Totodile *I chose Cyndaquil* in my gold i was like uh oh it's probably some Team rocket dude then it turned out to be Silver i was like "oh its just a dude" then I did the celebi event and I found out Silver is Giovanni's son and I said right in the middle of a dentists office when it was quiet "Oh God Giovanni has a son named silver who's the mother??!!!" Anyway just ask for one professor elm will give you it. I extremely like this picture *Leemak

I remember playing the game, and when Elm's assistant said that Silver came to give the Totodile back (I *ALWAYS* picked Cyndaquil) and Elm said Silver could keep the Totodile, and apparently he smiled. I went "Awww..."

It happens after you double battle with Silver against Lance and Clair in Dragon's Den! You can head on over to New Bark Town and the scientist will go up to you and speak to you about how Silver actually tried to return the one he'd stolen, only for Elm to let him keep it because it was "already very attached" and Silver was "really happy".
