now you could say this is a vent but its honestly not, its really the reality I'm facing right now. now I use comic in the sense NOT as a bad thing but as a person I've been sorta been with for a while and where I think I should be too. but I'm not and I know why, its the lack of art I post and I don't draw what other people are into therefore I don get much attention as I should. and ever since this stupid school bit has been getting in my way I feel like I won't gain anymore watchers and stuff. my goal was to get to 500 watchers this year (2017) but I still only have 300 and comic has over 600, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here but I feel like il be in the position for a while and it seems as if I won't reach my goalΒRelated content

I 100% support you and believe you will be top tier artist. I think you have what it takes to be an awesome animator! You have such a consistent fluid style which makes for amazing qualities of an animator

Hey I'm at like.. maybe 200 if that. Try spreading out to more sites like jsntagram Tumblr furaffinity. You have to have a very large online presence to be able to gain followers I've been on this site for like 10 years and never gotten. Any watchers. It's hard. It sucks ass. And unless you only draw fan art it's hard to get watchers. Also not bashing on comic, or trying to be rude, but I'm stumped as to how he has so many watchers as well? Especially when he only ever comments one word on people's stuff and he's still an amature artist. Some people just hit the right niche group and end up with a lot of followers but not everyone who follows you is active or goes through your works. I myself, have about 10 people who actually go through my stuff, now, that being said I brought it on myself by not being online as much. And not fav or commenting on people's things because. Well. Real life.
Point is. It sucks. Just try expanding and keep working on your art and trying new things!

Well it takes awhile to become this popular Lee. It sucks but that's because the unfortunate truth. But hopefully someday you'll reach 500 watchers, I just know it.

My advice is that everyone has a different pace of making art. As to comic he's a constant artist. He's been keeping up with his art lately which is a good thing and making more art to keep himself and his account updated.
Still, there's no need to feel bad about it. Everyone is different in their own ways in doing things. There's also responsibilities irl that alot of artists has to take of which slows down their work and progress and thats okay. Even alot of popular artists here are slower than you think with their artwork
Just remember, this isn't a race to the finish and having 300 watchers is still fricking great! I'm sure you'll reach your goal to get 500 watchers, it just takes some time and patience to get used to.
