Black and blue flamesLick at my back and neck
As I sit alone in the dark
Torrent with desire
And overcome with passion
A distand growl echoes
From somewhere down the cavern
Of my own personal hell
A blood curdling scream
Escapes my mouth
As deep gashes in my back
Open and begin to bleed
As the blood drips down
Leathery black wings burst forth
From my bloodied shoulders
In searing pain I fall
The cold, hard floor
Comes up to meet me
Hot tears streak my face
As I struggle to stand
Trapped within my head
My wings powerfully open
And I burst through these dark walls
Within my dementia
And I am free
Then my halo slips
And falls
And shatters...
