i live in the city. there have so far been about a dozen funnel clouds and a few tornadoes already this year. and it's only been really tornado season for maybe a month.
i feel safe in the city ^_^

I live in the suburbs... We get lots of tornado warnings but they never make it to where I live. Surrounding counties have it bad, though. The last time one made it in my neighborhood was June 1996.

well last year we had 6 tornadoes touch down in one day, and then we had an f5 somewhere... we've officially been added to tornado alley since then...

oh yeah. it was terrible.
the day the f5 hit, it was actually last summer and we were driving back home from the city... with Michelle in the car. they don't get weather like that in the UK.
the sky was black and it was pouring rain (and i mean POURING) and it was gusting so hard... i've never experienced anything like it.
