He doesn't have a map. He has a list of directions: "4 left into 5 right tightens. 3 right over big jump MIND THE BLOODY TREE!" "What tree?" [CRASH] "Oh, that tree."

that's for using high performance vehicles. It's fun to drive around with a small car. For example, I took a Peugeot 206 around the track.
