*in a meeting room a Number of Sangheili wait around a table discussing a plan for the mission ahead*

"so sir what did you call us here for?" frank says to break the silence "what have i told you about calling me sir?" red says to Frank "but the books say..."frank began "i don't care what the books say i don't like to be titled sir" red Interrupted "then what do i call you if i cant say sir?" frank said "just use my name frank if you do, I'll do the same to you" red said clearly getting a little annoyed "yes Sir!... i mean red" frank replied, red smile and shakes his head "newbies... anyway you are all wondering why i called you all here, we have recently received Intel from one of our recon teams that have captured 5 units, we need to get them back" red said " 5 units? why are we going to risk our lives for a bunch of people we don't know?" bill pointed out, "for your information Bill, we do know them, or more to the point i do, i have a close friend leading the recon team... and a brother that was among the captured" red said in return "then why cant you just go in solo i mean your supposed to be the "stealth expert" here" bill said to red "cause this isn't a one man deal, we need the co-operation of everybody in this room to mount a rescue" red said "well who is going to lead us? you?" bill mockingly says then laughs "actually yes i will be" red says and as soon as he does bill stops laughing " you? why you , i am older and more experienced" bill says "... and you would probably send these guys and the guys captured to an early grave" red says "i never said..." bill started "... and this is not a shoot to kill mission, these are our guys out there, we need to know why they turned" red said " woah okay then they are sending the military after a handful of rebels?" bill asked "they are not just rebels they too are military personnel" red said " our own guys?... but that means our own captured our own too..." bill stated "exactly we don't know what has happened to them but they appear to be brainwashed, almost all of them have been, we are the only ones left" red said " what that is impossible and crazy that means we are looking at thousand of units to get though" bill said shocked at the news "witch is exactly why this is not a solo mission, and what makes it worse, tranquillizes don't work, so we will have to use live ammo, shoot to immobilize but not to kill everybody understand?" red said " yes sir!... err red" said everyone at the same time red stand up and says "alright suit up... and lets do this..."

Kaine is bound to a chair getting beaten up by a brute "stop, i think he has had enough..." a voice comes from the shadows, Kaine is clearly in a lot of pain from the beating he just received "ha, i bet that is the same kind of beating you give your brute boyfriend" the brute tries to advance on Kaine for his remark but is held back when a human arm appears from the shadow "wait, he will turn, just like the others..." says the voice from the shadows, Kaine cannot help but continue his previous remark "and there he is... stretching your horizons and trying to cross breed are you, say how often are you in the same room together?" the brute by this time is enrages the human in the shadow comes out to try and hold him back, but gets pushed back into the shadows the brute advances on Kaine and just as he is about to throw a punch at Kaine two shots are heard in quick succession, then the brute falls onto Kaine's lap "now your trying to cross breed with me, i didn't know you liked me so much" Kaine says then looks down at the brute revealing two bullet holes right into the cranium he then quickly looks up to see the human holding a smoking pistol aimed right at Kaine " you should never try to piss them or me off... Kaine..." the human says as he lowers his gun "so that means it is true then... well you gonna kill me or what?" Kaine asks "no... not yet" the human brings out a coffee tale and places it just out of reach of Kaine " since you are so interested in cross-breeding, I'll let you two get better acquainted, with one exception" the human places a chilled can of root beer onto the coffee table then smiles to Kaine and leaves...

Meanwhile on top of a grassy overlook, lays a 4 man sniper team
the leader says quietly "oh no, they got out root beer" then the one next to him says "Alex we have been lying here for days, cant we just go in and pop some melons?"" no we can not, we stay here till we are needed Will, now lay down"Alex says as he pushes him back into the grass. after a few moments of silence another one of the team speaks up* sarge, they are on their way, ETA 5 minutes, be dropping in south west of this position..." "south west? hmm alright, i move into that tree over there with William, you two go and find a area hidden but with a good view, alright, move out" Alex orders, the group then splits up into two places and waits for reds group to touch down
