Description
okay this is a review for the Xbox 360 game "Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter"bad points: for those of you that know what the term "ghost recon" actually means there is very little gameplay that allows you to be a "ghost" the gameplay seems to be inclined to follow the role of a front line soldier, another bad point is the cover system in place, you basically need to walk into a wall directly (i.e. no side stepping into it) the whole system seems to be a bit "clumsy" you will find yourself taking cover rather than "linking up" most of the time, in multiplayer, this system has been taken out
good points: the "cross-com" system is something that is generally not included in games like this, basically it allows you to control vehicles/soldiers from your position basically making it a very basic strategy game. this is good for people who like "hybrid" games where you have more than one way to complete an objective, this is one of the games best points
other points: with the HUD in the game it clearly indicates the presence of enemy's even if they are behind cover, this, though handy may make the game a little easy to "hardcore" gamers, this can be turned off if wanted though, the difficulty of the game even on the easier difficulties, in some cases three shots can kill you (one at close range) even on the easiest difficulty the harder difficulties it is "one shot kill". another point to bring up on most levels the weapon you start with is the one you compleate the level with, i mostly got out the sniper rifle whenever i could, later to find out that i needed an ass ult rifle instead
overall it is a good game if you like to "strategise" each move before you make it yet if you like games where you can go in all guns blazing this is defently not the game for you

GRAW is a brilliant game.
I like it because:
- It follows a believeable story
- Features futuristic material based on present or prototype material of today, making the predictions of future technology more accurate.
- It is quite realistic, with standard combat tactics and a perfect health system for realistic gameplay (there's a 100% mark. Each third represents the full health of each colour. Let's say you got shot and got took down to 45%, if you wait long enough, you'd climb to 66.6%, the maximum yellow colour)
- And I love a game that mixes realism with high action gameplay.
But it's sequel, GRAW 2 turned a great game into a perfect form of itself with new tech, smarter AI, improved graphics, much more epic engagements and new support elements, all while keeping the familiar gameplay.
