Next quarter for school I'm going to be doing an independent study, so I'm practicing doing modeling right now. The first technique I'm practicing is "box" modeling. Box is in quotes, because I technically started with a cylinder, but the technique is called box modeling.

As of right now I plan on finishing this. It needs a lot of work. What you see here is more than 6 hours of work. It was a pain in the ass, but a lot of fun to do. I hope you like what I've created so far. What you see before you is not necessarily done. The chest and six pack aren't done for instance.

If you couldn't tell already, this is supposed to be the upper body of a person. I'm not sure what character this is supposed to be, but the sketch I'm using looks something like a marvel character.
