Sunkit opened his eyes with a yawn and looked around, slightly confused. It was mid-day and light was seeming through entrance of nursery Did I really sleep that long? Stretching on on his back legs he prodded his mother's side
"Breezesong?" He squeaked as he pawed at her side. Breezesong, who had been looking outside turned her attention to her son
"Well hello there sleepy mouse" she purred and licked his ear, relief in her voice "I was starting to get worried, your sister's woke up a long time ago. They wanting to play with you outside but I thought it would be better not to wake you"

"Its never a good idea to wake a sleeping kit" mutters a voice towards the back of the nursery. Sunkit turns his attention to Rosepetal, who's belly had started to swell with what his mother had told him was her fourth littler of kittens. Dominoclaw, her mate was cuddled up with her, grooming her with his eyes closed as Rosepetal had turned her attention to Sunkit and Breezesong

"They get all cranky and hissy, Darkspirt nipped me once when Dominoclaw woke him up while trying to search for fleas on him."She huffed a little as if slightly annoyed by the memory. Her mate chuckles and opened his eyes to look at her "I didn't want you catching any fleas, Rosepetal" Rosepetal lets her whiskers twitch before nuzzling his muzzle with a purr

Sunkit makes a disgusted face before looking back to his mother who was watching her denmate with friendly affection. He prodded her again annoyed
"I was having this dream mama, about this really big cat. And she wouldn't let me leave, thats why I couldn't wake up."
Breezesong's expression quickly looked worried, concern filling her eyes

"What do you mean...she wouldn't let you leave Sunkit?" Sunkit tilted his head frowning trying to remember his dream, as most of it seemed like a blur. Suddenly remembering something he got down to a crouch and wiggles his hunches.
"She said I couldn't leave until I got my crouch right..." *Suddenly he pushed off with is back legs and sprung across the den with a huge leap. A huge leap for a kitten that is. He turned back to his mother who was staring at him with wide eyes.

"My! Sunkit that was a mighty leap! It must be all that energy you have pent up!" Standing up she nudges him towards the entrance of the den "Go outside to play with you sisters." she sighs softly as she curls back into her nest "It will be a while before I let you eat a mouse before you sleep..." Frustration filled Sunkit as he knew his mother didn't believe him but he figured there was no point in arguing, since he knew he wouldn't win and besides, he really did want to go out and play.

With a polite nod to the warrior and queens in the den he scrambling outside, loving the feeling of the breeze touching his whiskers. However he couldn't shake out the feeling that someone was watching him. Throwing one look back into the nursery, he saw the glowing green eyes, of Dominoclaw, who had his eyes locked on the little kit, with an unreadable expression
