Sadie and Culih ['kali] live in the Thaumaturgyverse , the same universe as Lunox , Maxim , Walter , Alan , Esther , Patrick , Zachary and Nathaniel .

In this universe, the more magic power a person has, the more they are respected by the others. Sadie is a magician lifegiver which is one of the more powerful kind. Culih is her non-magical stuffed toy.

Magician lifegiver is a rare type of magician who can give life to inanimate things but not to individuals who were once alive and now are dead. The number of given lives depends on the magician's age and power – the older and more powerful they are, the more lives can be given.

Sadie is a chubby, happy, clumsy, naive and energetic little girl who has given life to her stuffed toy Culih because she had no friends and felt alone. She did it naturally and did not even realised that she is a lifegiver until her parents found out about it. After that, she found some friends but never abandoned her plush buddy. She brings him everywhere because she do not want him to be alone like she once was.

Culih is Sadie's slim stuffed toy. He is her best friend who enjoys her company. He lets her drag him everywhere, talk to him about things... everything. He is a very good listener, since he does not talk too much. He cannot do any magic, but he does not care. The only important thing in his life is his owner's (Sadie's) happiness. Some people like him, some despise him, it depends.

Both of them are scared of the most powerful magicians who keep fighting that grey and blue cat with a sword. And that tall jerboa jumping from one tree to another is also rather scary...
