What do you use to color your art? Cause yours always come out so perfect. I had a trial of OC but it's expired, so now I can use it...But I can't save anything...

Photoshop. whats OC open canvas?? Hows that like? you can dl photoshop elements cuz its free or 99 bucks or whatever and still has a good amount of features or if you really want something free then go for a prog called paint.net. Its a net free program that is good enough for alot of types of art like anime stuff. Just don't expect it to do wonders as ps.

Im not good with colors myself. I stay with the primary colors alot which makes everything more cartoony than what i had imagined. It takes me a long time messing with colors until i just fine one i like. I definitely need to find a system to make this go alot fasterI am growing with every try so as long as you experiment alot it will make sense. I look at alot of peoples art and try to understand why it looks so great. And that helps me alot as well as peoples comments. I think as long as you take the time to think of where the light is coming from while keeping in mind of how light would wrap around the object and make careful selections to color into rather than going out the lines it will come out nice. (this pic can be a thought of what not to do if it were a finished drawing lol)

lol hey you shouldn't do that. Post it at least in your scraps. I like to come by deviantart before i go off and draw something to get me in the mindset and sometimes i look at my own stuff cuz some of it makes me remember certain feelings i had then and really makes me more pumped to draw but then sometime people would leave a comment on that drawing that might actually make you want to turn it into a real drawing. So you neva know the value of something until you put it out in the market. And at the very least, I'd like to see it. Its cool to see what else people created other than what they show in their portfolio.

Yeah they are fun, I bet we all have a big collection of ramdom wierd doodles that we like bout wouldn't even dare to share for its utter oddity, simplicity, etc but kept around because it grew on us for no apparent reason. I have this collection of just arms particularly the shoulder to bicep. They are not even anotomically correct and wouldnt fit or look as nice on a full body but i just like it. lol. I bet you got so skeleton collections too.
