So, about an hour passes. To pass the time, Rock is doing what he does best - eavesdropping.

Ice Man: ...Did you hear the conversation about 30 minutes ago between Auto and I? A robot named Cold Man's gonna move in with us in about 3 months! Can you believe it!? I'm kinda scared...

Suddenly, he's distracted by a knocking at the door.

Rock: Ah! That must be him!
Ice Man: ...Ooooor he could move in right away.
Rock: It's not about Cold Man.
Ice Man: Oh. Wait, how'd you get here?
Rock: *walking away, pets and Eddie near him* No time, someone's at the door.

And of course, it's Bass - only this time he's sporting that Super Adapter Light gave him shortly after he'd staged having his hindquarters handed to him by Shade Man. Or as he's calling it these days since he spruced it up during the meteor incident, the Treble Boost.

Rock: Oh, *heh* what a--
Bass: You're gonna make me look bad, those pajamas have got to go.
Rock: But--

Before anyone can say another word, FWISH the pajamas come off, GRAB by the hand, and ZOOM off they go! It's up to Rush (with Eddie and Tango on his back and Rush Jetting) and Beat to fly over and catch up to them.

And before he knows it, they're out of the city limits and into the thick, forested western outskirts.
