Description
Thus begins a somewhat sickening duel between the two. Gross sticky slime on one end, scary and dangerous acid on the other. At one point Acid Man even pulls off his Acid Barrier, which Mercury helpfully avoids by melting into his own slime.Eventually, it gets to the point where Mercury has Acid Man within his sticky clutches.
Mercury: *constantly pacing in circles around Acid Man* Go on, admit it! You've lost!
Acid Man: *sigh...* Do I need to remind you further? My expression says enough!
Mercury: *victorious laughter and excited fist-pumping* YES!! Now to explain what we're going to do with you--
Acid Man: Let me guess. Sunstar's coming to take us away to some secret hideout that may or may not be one of Dr. Wily's old castles and kill me and the rest of the Robot Masters that Duo sent just to exact his revenge and change the humans' reception of him and the Stardroids*?
Mercury: ...Uh, w-with our help, yes. But anyway! That Mega Scum better not get involved with any of this! I've been told he loves interrupting plans if it means he gets to save the world.
Acid Man: *SIGH...* I just hope Galaxy Man's doing his best...

*Actually, scratch that "change the humans' reception" part. It's immediately obvious to everyone who's played this game that the Stardroids are 100% honey-baked evil!

Never mind that "change the humans' reception" part. The story for the 5th World game very clearly involves the Stardroids blowing up the cities and trying to take over the world.
So excuse Kalinka's positive reception of Sunstar and Venus as her being in Dubai with her father and brobots at the time of this ancient alien invasion.
