Well, it is October after all, and I may as well do something scary for the heck of it not remotely related to my current arc!

In this case, Elec Man may have been a teensy bit traumatized by the whole glitch thing. Can you blame him? Forced to rip his family to shreds, unable to call for help while under this glitchy spell, all while there's a song stuck in his head that's been haunting his every dream? Some of his dreams to this day are flashbacks to that horrific event, and sometimes he dreams that the glitch is somehow back!

And I just know it, CreeperFlowey is gonna say something about Junior, so I'll just put it there that he might need his help one day.

One night though, he ends up having a strange dream. The power's out, like it usually is in dreams like this, but he feels absolutely 100% fine. He thinks. He's pretty sure Rock is immune, and there's only one other electricity-generating robot at the lab, so he immediately pins down Plug Man.

"I-if you're in there, c-can you--"

Before he can finish his sentence, two long, thin, metal plug prongs end up charging their way through the 068 door like horns on a raging bull, and the door is immediately twisted off of its hinges, revealing a pair of glowing red eyes and a smile menacing enough to swallow a particularly bite-sized Robot Master whole!

That's right, Plug Man's fully succumbed to that very same horrible glitch Elec Man fell prey to many months earlier, complete with maniacal laughter so menacing, only Blast Man's trademark shrill clownish cackle could rival it!

"P-Plug Man, listen! I-it's me! Y-your big brobot!"

The attempt to get him to come to his senses is futile, so all he gets for a response is the amped-up plug-hand straight through his reactor, with the force of two knives. Then, just then, their thoughts seem to intertwine, and as Elec Man's life flashes before his eyes, he sees a much softer Plug Man, with his usual green eyes. A plea for help fills his dying processor.

"I'm sorry... I didn't want to hurt you..."

The last image he sees before he wakes up is a flashback to when the two first met. Of course, like many of the Nightmares that've struck the various Robot Masters over the years, regardless of outside influence, it sticks with him like a cocklebur and he has a morose breakfast the next morning. He can't help but notice Plug Man also seems a bit melancholy, so the two have a bit of a talk.

"Hey Plug Man, I kinda had a bit of a bad dream about you last night."

A bad dream, he says?

"...I-I didn't happen to be glitching out and going crazy, did I!?"

A... shared bad dream? Nawww...

"A-and t-there wasn't a flashback to when I was activated for the first time, was there?"

So it really was shared! There've been rare cases of two humans who've known each other to share the same dream, but other than the Stardroids' routine dream-hacking or certain twin or triplet hivemind robots, no two robots have ever shared a dream before! This is revolutionary! They've gotta tell Auto about it so he can tell Light!
