Revisiting a concept that I started about three years ago.

The Hunters (specifically, Ormm) was intended as a riff on Rom The Spaceknight.
There was no Rom comic being published at the time, and even reprints of The Marvel series seemed unlikely then. But times (and licensing agreements) change.... and Rom is once again being published via IDW!
With that return, I want to shift my concept slightly.

Its still very much an homage to Rom, but a bit less obvious of an homage.
Orm was originally white legacyherocomics.deviantart.co… , and now he's blue.

Paldorrans are a soft-bodied, grub-like race of beings.
After birth, they are placed inside protective armor made of Anolyte, a metallic element that is found in abundance on Paldorr and its surrounding planets.
The armor not only provides protection, but imparts a degree of enhanced exo-skeletal strength and endurance.
As Paldorrans grow, their armor is exchanged several times during their lifetime, until they reach maturity.

Armors can be modified to accommodate specific tasks and employment.

In the case of a trio of Bounty Hunters, their armor was further modified specifically for space-travel and for adaptation to other-worldly environments.

Along with space-travel adaptions, each Hunter has their own unique set of modifications.

Ormm Shar (Blue Hunter)
Armor modifications: Enhanced for speed, Flexibility, Aerial agility and maneuverability.
Ormm is a natural marksman with his laser-ray.

Trilnu Vaa (Gold Hunter)
Armor modification: Energy fusion, Energy projection/propulsion, defensive Energy shields, and offensive Energy blasts.
Trilnu's energy control is so precise that she can create pin-point beams to sever or fuse an individual wire.

Yodo Kondru (Green Hunter)
Armor modification: Enhanced Strength and Durability.
Due to his mass, Yodo lacks flight capability, so relies on a Starstrider instead. He uses a Mega-Blaster weapon.

They are off-world when their planet sector is overtaken by Devma Lith.
