Hope this tutorial can help you, I like this socks because they fit ponies well ^^. Sorry if you find some grammar mistake, I'm not native speaker u.u. But I think its clear (hope so!!! Y-Y)If you make them I really want to seee!! >w< just give the link of your pony with this kind of socks

And here I was planning on making them from scratch. But how can I go about buying baby socks without looking awkward? That's a tutorial I'd love to see. xD

You walk into the store, spend about 30 minutes closely examining each pair of socks, choose your pair, look around before you grab it, hold it really low like you're ashamed, and then walk up to the register. Once there slide it slowly onto the counter, refusing the meet the cashier's eyes. When the ask you for the money just hand it over and then quickly grab the socks and stuff the deep into your pocket.
There, awkwardness averted!

I might do some for my ponies next time I make a Walmart run. I just wonder of the trick works for bigger ponies (My Applejack is pretty big and if I cut off the tops of regular socks, the rest fit right on).
Still, it might be fun to attempt to make them from scratch (If I can't find the right color I want)

Socks would be easy if you already have a plushie, that way you can measure the hooves and get the right size for them (Just give yourself some seam allowance so the sock isn't skin-tight on the hoof)
