I wasn't going to release any of the panels from "One Second" as individual pieces, save the first preview panel but I figured this deserves it's own deviation submission. It's probably the hardest image I've colored so far with all the different light sources, glow from the explosion, shadows, etc. I chose to keep the background flat because it helps Rattrap and Cheetor pop out more.Related content

Thanks. I wanted to make the Maximals more robotic so I referenced his titanium toy and used that as a basis for Rattrap's "re"-design.

Thanks. My favorite part is the explosion. I had no frickin' idea how to do it so I just experimented a bit and came up with something that looks pretty cool. I also redesigned Rattrap a bit to go along with the more robotic Cheetor (who's based on the titanium version, btw).
