Description
Impa is Princess Zelda's nursemaid, member of the Shiekah tribe and one of the descendants of the original Seven Sages from an ancient era long before the events of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. She goes missing as she got kidnapped by Yuga to achieve his plans to resurrect Ganon and get the Triforce of Power. Impa got sent to Turtle Rock, Lorule's fiery dungeon, until she gets rescued by Link. Impa and the other Sages will use her power to summon the Triforce of Courage for Link so he could thwart the return of the Demon King who awaits the Hero at Lorule Castle.

Impa is descended from the Sage of Shadow from Ocarina of Time, including from other ancestors who shares the same name and those who took care of the Goddess Hylia and the first incarnation of Zelda from Skyward Sword.
