This was sort of weird, I guess it's a way to do fanart of a lot of the characters at once and practice my 'cover image' or 'poster type art' in a way. Irene's my favorite individual pretty easily, I figure I'll do something with her later...One thing I find weird is making Zelda independent of the sages, where she's typically been the 7th. I suppose that was partly to keep the dungeon count what it was...

Oh good someone else noticed the problem. I don't know if Zelda really is independent of the Sages. I think the seventh position is filled by two people, and it means one sage is related to her. After consideration of them all I believe the Sage of the Goddess, and Zelda's relative, is Seres. She wears blue, a colour association with Nayru, and cannot be the Sage of Water because that's obviously the Zora Queen. Also she's affiliated with the Sanctuary and that's a place owned by the Royal Family and is connected to the Castle. ALSO she's the odd one out because the rest have things tying them to other elements.
Osfala is the Sage of Light; he wears yellow and is an apprentice to Sahasrahla who's also related to the Sages and also wears yellow, AND who bears a passing resemblance to Rauru as a wise old man.
Gulley is the Sage of Forest; he wears Kokiri-like clothes, is a child, and is loved by animals, and he wears clothes that are entirely green.
Rosso is the Sage of Fire; his picture frame is red, he's big, tough and strong and resembles a goron, he lives near the volcano and enjoys mining, I don't really think anyone would argue he's the Sage of Fire.
Zora Queen is the Sage of Water; she's a Dragon Zora (or Zola) which means she's a pretty direct descendant of Ruto, and again I don't think anyone would argue her element.
Impa is the Sage of Shadow; Impa's a shiekah, the Sage of Shadow was a previous Impa, again I don't really think the argument needs to be made.
Irene is the Sage of Spirit; she's wild, free, and is a witch, much like a certain pair of Gerudo sisters everyone knows. And as a witch she'd be more associated with spirits, emotions, and such, and is indeed a very headstrong person; much like Nabooru.
In addition to what I've stated already, Seres is an attendant in the Sanctuary, a holy site, which further links her to Hylia and the Golden Triad, and by extension Zelda.

On the other hand, it could be that Zelda's sage position is filled by another. Possibly by Gulley if you ask me.

Yeah, I've seen some stuff by people way more obsessive than myself about the sage change. It doesn't actually bother me, though bringing back the Master Sword after aLttP's epilogue does a little.

To be fair, I don't think the whole "Master Sword sleep forever" thing wasn't ever meant to be taken literally.

I don't keep track of the exact time, I know I work slowly and it would get depressing, but I wouldn't be surprised if the hours worked up to a couple of days - though that was spread out over a couple of weeks.
