I'm not sure if the explanation is clear in enough in the comic. Let me explain further here: When I lost the files I continued making pages for Patreon, but I also wanted to make the 3D scenes again. So I thought: "The new scenes won't be exactly the same as the ones I lost, so I better wait for teh new ones to publish on deviantart. But time passed and I never found the moment, and it became more and more difficult. Working in games was stressful too, to the point I left the comic completely, even in patreon.

So, best advice I can give: be aware of your real capabilities. Don't fool yourself saying "I will do it later" if you have already too much work.
