A while back me and a friend we talking about doing a Metroid related flash. It's in limbo for now, but I drew a bunch of animated sprites for the project anyway. I'll be uploading what I have so you all can see them!

As you probably know, Ridley in the original game looks PRETTY SILLY. His artwork and in game sprite look nothing alike, and in Super Metroid they redesigned him to look much more bad ass. I wanted to draw this sprite to look like the one in the game but still look like it could evolve into the Super Metroid version.
