Well, Biollante and SpaceGoji do have genetic ties to Goji himself since they're clones of him with some outside contamination. Biollante was a straight-up splice of rose, human, and Godzilla DNA that mutated into the monster she is. The roars are no surprise, given Toho's penchant for recycling roars for other monsters. For instance, Battra used a slightly edited version of Rodan's.

SpaceGoji is a bit more convoluted because there are actually two theories. One has Godzilla's DNA being sent into space via Biollante's spores after she broke apart, the DNA falling into a black hole, coming out of a white hole, and transforming into Crystal Space Clone. The other has Mothra, with some of Godzilla's DNA (presumably from fighting him in Godzilla vs. Mothra) , taking off into space to stop the meteor that Battra was supposed to, and it combined with a pre-existing crystal organism to form SpaceGoji.

Don't know how or why anyone would think SpaceGoji would be female when Toho outright confirms him as male. The only Toho kaiju I know of that fans couldn't gender-identify so easily was Destoroyah, also confirmed male.

Yeah I know both of his possible origins, I've seen all the movies multiple times. I'm just saying that I personally follow the Biollante based one as the one I find more likely due to all of SpaceGoji's similarities to Biollante. 

And Toho confirmed his gender? Good. I can put that to rest then. Its not always easy to tell just based on what they say in the movies. In the rebirth of mothra films they call Leo a girl a lot though he's confirmed male. But I think the theory of its gender was because of him being made from biollante or something.

Oh, well I actually haven't really watched any of the original Godzilla movies actually. I just know about him through of him being so well known. The only movie I DID see was the newest 2014 movie.

they're good! I'd give em a whirl. The later Showa films are p damn campy, but they're feel-good monster brawl movies, anyhow...

And then there's the heavy shit like the original JESUS christ that shit is .... wooh that's a good movie

also GMK is a particular favorite of mine and you can watch it free on metacafe uwu
