Description  DO NOT USE EOWENAH FOR YOUR ROLEPLAYS. DO NOT USE THIS FAKEMON AT ALL. THIS INCLUDES THE NAMES AND BIO. I'm sorry, but unless it's fan art, the following Fakemon are not up for use; Eowenah, Shadogaire, Yinyanro, Maxlormew, Macromew, Mewtrice, Kittwo, (my version of) Mewthree, Glitch01, MissingNO, and Eowenah's kids Cerupus, Rubynine, Lunicane, and Vionight. This includes for roleplays, stories, character bios, fakedexes, etc. They're my main characters, so I just don't want to see them used in ways I didn't intend them. Please let me know if you see anyone using them without my permission. Thank you

edit: FIXED THE FILE!

look what I found hidden in the recesses of my computer. still clearing it out, doesn't help I only have access to it on the weekends... anyways, while cleaning I found this pic. probably moved it on when I made the others to free up space on my jump-drive. I have that eagend picture done BTW, its there, sitting by my scanner, just a manner of getting it in.

I remember making this, wondering WTF happened to it later, but as I was making it, I remember thinking "oh my god, the wings are too small, can't male em bigger..." yes, her wings are larger than this. about 1.5x longer and have a structure that suggests someone killed a pteranadon and a person, took the arm bones, and mixed it in with an albatross's wing bones. yeah, she has big wings. BUT, it makes sense, since a creature as large and heavy as her, she'd need large wings to achieve liftoff. of course, her psychic energy is so strong it actually repels her off the earths surface (like superman) this energy also allows her to walk on water. so, here you have it, Eowenah.

All I see here is massive wings. Like really, obnoxiously massive wings. Realistically, a bird needs a large wingspan if they're big to begin with and so on and so on. You would already know all of this since you're quite into birds of other animals, it seems. But in a graphic, they just look bizarrely oversized. Sat here measuring them, and while the ratios seem to relatively match your dex entry, as an image, all I see is wings.

it does look odd in the pokedex image, I will give you that. (it looks much better in the realistic bone diagram I'm trying to fit into my scanner) I probably will scale down the wings or at least put them in the folded position for the image.

beautifull! it reminds me of the Egyptian godess, Isis (who turned into an eagle and had sex with her dead husband, acording to ancient egyptian mythology). your fakemon is good enough to be a real pokemon!

yeah, did a whole bunch of research regarding how big the proportions of the wing to body would have to be to get it off the ground... turns out ENORMOUS... I have this skeletal drawing of her that shows the proportions of he body, but its like, 10x bigger than my scanner... (plus that computer's busted >_>)

Just curious but is this based off of Thunderbird at all?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

legendguard In reply to rubybeam [2011-12-02 04:06:36 +0000 UTC]

no, the Thunderbird is believed to be a ptranadon... but I did base a couple of other fakemon on the eagle version of the thunderbird

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rubybeam In reply to legendguard [2011-12-02 04:11:52 +0000 UTC]

Mmm I think were both talking about two different thunderbirds then, I meant the one from North american mythology that resembles a giant bird that could turn into some sort of human by pulling its beak back
But I still like the concept in this fakemon, how large its wings are and the appearance altogether good job!

haven't heard about the transformation part, but I have heard about this creature in north American mythology that looks like a large, flying reptile/eagle that actually summons lightning as it flies

thank you

rubybeam In reply to legendguard [2011-12-02 04:20:13 +0000 UTC]

Yeap thats it! it had many tribes with many description, one of the more famous ones was the transformation into a man
most also said that it was a large bird according to wikipedia
